Terms of Service for Fixat
Fixat is a standalone marketplace operated by BuddyPro AB. The service is separate from BuddyPro Admin, Workforce, and Customer Portal and is governed by its own terms.

2. Scope of the service
Fixat is a digital marketplace that connects customers looking for household services with qualified service companies. The platform handles:
- searching and matching providers
- booking and scheduling services
- communication between customer and provider
- reviews and ratings
- history and follow-up
- information about RUT and ROT eligibility where applicable
- payments (when the feature is introduced)
We are an intermediary and don't perform any services ourselves.
3. Relationship to other BuddyPro services
Fixat has its own database, its own authentication, and its own terms. Having an account in Fixat doesn't automatically give you an account in BuddyPro Admin, Workforce, or Customer Portal, and vice versa.

4. Who can use Fixat
You must be at least 16 and have the right to enter into agreements to use Fixat.
To create an account, you need to provide:
- valid email
- first and last name
- phone number
- address
- other information required at registration
You are responsible for keeping your login details secret, for activity on your account, for the accuracy of your information, and for notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
5. User categories
5.1 Customers
As a customer, you commit to:
- provide accurate information about the job and about access to the location
- be on site or arrange approved access at the booked time
- treat providers professionally and with respect
- pay as agreed when booking
- leave truthful and fair reviews based on actual experience
5.2 Service providers
As a provider, you commit to:
- hold the permits, insurance, and certifications required
- perform the job professionally and to industry standard
- keep booked times and give reasonable notice for cancellations
- follow the laws and rules that apply to your business
- treat customers professionally and with respect
6. Booking and payment
- All bookings depend on the provider being available and accepting the job.
- A confirmed booking is a binding agreement between customer and provider. BuddyPro is not a party to that agreement.
- The price is set by the provider. Distance-based pricing may apply. Prices are shown including VAT unless otherwise stated.
- Payment today is made directly between customer and provider.
- When payment through the platform is introduced, we will publish separate terms for that feature in good time.
Cancellations are governed by the individual provider's cancellation policy, which is displayed before you confirm a booking. BuddyPro is not responsible for cancellation fees or disputes arising between customer and provider.
Where a service may qualify for RUT or ROT tax deduction under Swedish law, this is indicated in the platform. The deduction is handled directly between the provider and the Swedish Tax Agency (Skatteverket) — BuddyPro does not administer or guarantee eligibility.
7. Permitted use
You may not:
- use Fixat for unlawful or unauthorized purposes
- impersonate someone else
- interfere with or attempt to bypass platform features or security
- post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
- harass, abuse, or harm other users
- violate the rights of others, e.g. intellectual property rights
Any content you submit must be truthful, respectful, lawful, and free of offensive material.
8. Reviews and ratings
- Reviews must be based on an actual experience of the service.
- Reviews must be honest, factual, and reasonable.
- We may remove reviews that violate these terms.
- Both customers and providers can leave reviews.
Reviews may not contain personal attacks, discriminatory language, irrelevant content, false or misleading information, or advertising.
9. Data and privacy
When you book a job, we share your contact information and your full booking form with the provider you book so the service can be performed. The provider may contact you directly about the booking.
Your first name is shown alongside reviews you leave for providers.
The platform uses location data to match you with nearby providers and to calculate distance-based pricing.

10. Intellectual property
Fixat, including design, code, trademarks, and content we provide, is owned by BuddyPro AB.
By posting content to Fixat, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and process the content to the extent needed to run the service.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The platform is provided "as is". We make no guarantees regarding uninterrupted or error-free access.
We do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or completion of services performed by providers. Providers are independent contractors — not employees or agents of BuddyPro AB.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, BuddyPro's total aggregate liability to you for any claim relating to these terms or your use of Fixat is limited to the fees you have paid via Fixat in the preceding 12 months.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under mandatory Swedish or EU law.
If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights under Swedish consumer law (konsumentköplagen, konsumenttjänstlagen) or applicable EU consumer protection legislation.
12. Suspension and termination
We can suspend or end your account if you breach the terms, engage in fraud, pose a security risk, or fail to pay.
When the account is suspended, your access ends, but obligations you have from before still apply.
13. Disputes and governing law
The agreement is governed by Swedish law and applicable EU law.
We encourage resolving disputes through direct dialogue first. If that doesn't work, we proceed to mediation and, if necessary, general courts with Stockholm District Court as the first instance. Consumers can also turn to ARN or the EU's ODR platform.

14. Changes
We may amend the terms. We notify you of material changes in good time in the service or by email. Continued use means you accept the change.
